Stria Lithium Grants Cygnus Metals a Two-Year Extension on Pontax Earn-In Agreement

Stria Lithium Inc. successfully closed a non-brokered private placement raising $650,000 through the issuance of 13.5 million common shares priced at $0.05 per share. The financing will provide working capital and fund the generation and evaluation of new mineral opportunities as the company advances its lithium exploration activities in Quebec's emerging James Bay region.

The company's flagship Pontax Central Lithium Project spans 36 square kilometres along the prospective Chambois Greenstone Belt in what is being called the Canadian "Lithium Triangle." The project benefits from a joint venture partnership with ASX-listed Cygnus Metals, which has committed up to $10 million for exploration and drilling programs plus up to $6 million in cash payments to earn a 70% interest in the property. Cygnus has already fulfilled its stage 1 requirements and earned a 51% interest.

The Pontax project has established a maiden JORC-compliant inferred mineral resource estimate of 10.1 million tonnes at 1.04% Li2O, positioning it as a significant occurrence in the emerging James Bay lithium district. This resource estimate, while adhering to Australian JORC standards, is not yet compliant with Canadian CIM and NI 43-101 standards, representing a future milestone for the company.

The timing of this financing aligns with accelerating government support for North American lithium production driven by the electric vehicle transition and green energy revolution. Stria's strategic position in one of the few known hard rock lithium sources in North America, combined with its joint venture funding structure, positions the company to capitalize on unprecedented growth opportunities in the critical minerals sector while maintaining its commitment to environmental and social governance standards.
