West High Yield (W.H.Y.) Resources Ltd. secured a critical legal victory when the Supreme Court of British Columbia dismissed a judicial review petition challenging the provincial Environmental Assessment Office's determination that the Record Ridge Industrial Minerals Mine project is not subject to environmental assessment under British Columbia's Environmental Assessment Act. This ruling removes a significant regulatory obstacle that had created uncertainty around the project's development timeline and regulatory pathway.

The Record Ridge project represents a substantial critical minerals resource located near Rossland, British Columbia, containing a measured and indicated mineral resource of 43.0 million tonnes averaging 24.61% magnesium grade, corresponding to approximately 10.6 million metric tonnes of contained magnesium. The project also contains silica and nickel, positioning it as a strategic supplier of critical minerals for North American advanced manufacturing and industrial supply chains. The operation is designed as a quarry-style industrial minerals project with no on-site chemical processing and no tailings storage facility, emphasizing environmental responsibility.
