West High Yield (W.H.Y.) Resources Ltd. announces first tranche closing of private placement and Record Ridge Project update

West High Yield (W.H.Y.) Resources Ltd. successfully closed the first tranche of its private placement financing, raising $356,500 through the issuance of 1,188,334 units priced at $0.30 each. Each unit comprises one common share and half a warrant, with full warrants exercisable at $0.45 for twelve months. The proceeds will fund development of the Record Ridge Industrial Minerals Mine project and general working capital.

In a significant regulatory victory, the Supreme Court of British Columbia dismissed the judicial review challenging the Record Ridge project and upheld the Environmental Assessment Office's determination that the project does not require provincial environmental assessment. This ruling lifts the injunction that had restricted construction activities, clearing a major regulatory hurdle for project advancement.

The Record Ridge deposit represents a substantial critical minerals resource containing 43.0 million tonnes of measured and indicated resources at 24.61% magnesium grade, corresponding to approximately 10.6 million metric tonnes of contained magnesium. Located 10 kilometers southwest of Rossland, British Columbia, the project targets magnesium, silica, and nickel using green processing techniques designed to minimize waste and CO2 emissions.

This development positions West High Yield to capitalize on growing demand for critical minerals essential to clean energy infrastructure and industrial applications. With regulatory clarity achieved and initial financing secured, the company can now focus on advancing the Record Ridge project toward production, potentially establishing a significant domestic source of critical minerals in Canada's evolving resource landscape.
