Exploration Midland Inc. has successfully completed a non-brokered private placement totaling $5.3 million across two tranches, with the second and final tranche announced on May 21, 2026, raising $3.1 million through the issuance of 6,926,123 units priced at $0.45 each. Each unit consists of one common share and one warrant exercisable at $0.65 for two years from the issue date.

The financing attracted significant institutional participation, including CDPQ Sodémex Inc. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec), Desjardins Capital Appui PME S.E.C., NQ Investissement Minier, and SIDEX. Notably, Centerra Gold Inc. exercised its pre-emptive right to maintain approximately 9.9% ownership by acquiring 1,173,333 units, demonstrating continued strategic interest from this major gold producer. This right was granted to Centerra in July 2025 under an investor rights agreement.

The proceeds will fund exploration activities and general corporate purposes, supporting Midland's strategy of discovering world-class gold and critical metals deposits across Quebec. The company maintains partnerships with prominent industry players including Rio Tinto, BHP Canada, Barrick Gold, Agnico Eagle, and others, positioning it well to advance its exploration portfolio.
