In advance of the course date, registered participants can access online e-learning material consisting of three introductory courses: Common Rocks, Minerals and Ores, Quality Control of Geochemical and Assay Samples and Exploration and Mining Geology 3 - Surface Geologic Data.
The course qualifies for two days of short course credit for the Certificate in Mining Studies (CMS), and meets the requirements for formal CPD activity for most Canadian provincial associations and US state boards (it also may contribute the equivalent in hours towards your CPD requirement).
